UNITERMINALS PROFILE
Uniterminals is a wholesale distributor of petroleum products and other petroleum derivatives in Lebanon.
It was incorporated in 1978, and it operates from its terminals in Dora and Anfeh.
The company's shareholders include:
- A major Kuwaiti company, namely IPG - Independent Petroleum Group K.S.C.P., listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange (Boursa Kuwait) since 1995. The main business of IPG includes procurement, shipping, storage, and distribution of petroleum products and crude oil and the establishment of petroleum logistics facilities to achieve its objectives (for more information on IPG: https://ipg.com.kw/).
-Other prime Lebanese shareholders, who have been involved in the Oil and Gas Sector since more than 35 years.
Uniterminals' core business centers on the following:
sourcing and import of petroleum products from reputed international suppliers renowned for their resilient supply chains, high-quality products and competitive pricing
Operating large oil terminals (with total capacity exceeding 90,000 cubic meters) equipped with state-of-the-art pipeline system, fire system, regular safety audits and strategically located to cater for ease of delivery. Since its inception Uniterminals has focused on its core competency which falls under the procurement, shipping and storing of petroleum products while it has outsourced the in-land transportation and distribution (B2C) to reputable third parties, eliminating any potential for conflict of interests with itscustomers (B2B). The Company owns and/or operates the storage terminals without owning or operating delivery trucks or gas stations.
