Uniterminals SAL is a wholesale (storage and distribution organization) distributor of petroleum products and other petroleum derivatives in Lebanon.
The Company was incorporated in 1991 under register number 37539 / Mount Lebanon, and operates under a license to import and distribute petroleum products issued by the Directorate General of Oil in Lebanon-Ministry of Energy and Water.
The company shareholders include:
A major Kuwaiti company, namely Independent Petroleum Group K.S.C.P. (I.P.G.)– Kuwait. IPG was established on September 11, 1976 as a Kuwaiti Shareholding Company under Commercial Registration No.24496 and was listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange (Boursa Kuwait) on December 10, 1995. The main business of IPG-Kuwait includes marketing of petroleum products and crude oil and the establishment of petroleum logistics facilities to achieve its objectives.
Other prime Lebanese family groups and shareholders who have been involved in the Oil and Gas Sector since more than 50 years.
Uniterminals SAL core business centers on the following:
Sourcing and Importing of petroleum products from reputed international suppliers reputed for their high quality products
Operating large oil terminals(with total capacity exceeding 100,000 cubic meters) equipped with state-of-the-art pipeline system and strategically located to cater for ease of delivery. The company owns and/or operates the storage terminals without owning or operating delivery trucks or gas stations
Wholesale and retail distribution of petroleum products on the Lebanese Territory to selected clients from the diverse economic sectors.

Uniterminals SAL is a Lebanese joint stock company and one of the largest privately owned oil storage and trading enterprises in Lebanon.
Its primary tank farm is strategically located on a 17,316 m² parcel of land, with an additional 10,000 m² of reclaimed area,
offering critical proximity to Beirut’s industrial and maritime infrastructure.
Historical Milestones & Strategic Growth
1978
Founding & Initial Operations
Established by Unifert associates, Uniterminals began operations focusing on the storage and sale of asphalt, heavy fuel oil, chemical products, and soya oil.
1990 -1993
Infrastructure Revamp & Product Diversification
The terminal underwent a comprehensive upgrade to meet international standards, expanding its capabilities to include white refined products such as gasoline and diesel.
2002
Strategic Partnership with IPG Group
IPG Group, a Kuwaiti publicly listed company with global operations in petroleum shipping, storage, and distribution, acquired a 50% equity stake in Uniterminals, reinforcing its financial and operational strength.
2008
Geographic Expansion via Gefco Terminal
To meet rising market demand and enhance national coverage, Uniterminals leased and began full operations of the Gefco Terminal in North Lebanon, adding 17,000 m³ of storage capacity and improving distribution efficiency.
Products
Since initiation of our activities, we have solely focused on serving the Lebanese market and its different economic sectors. Our strategic sourcing channels are mostly located throughout the Mediterranean and GCC regions. Over the years, we have used our broad business knowledge to establish strong alliances and strategic partnerships with internationally recognized oil trading companies that are reputed for the quality of their products and prime standing in the energy and petroleum trading industry.
Unleaded Gasoline
Unleaded gasoline is used in spark-ignited combustion engines to power vehicles. To protect the environment from lead exposure, Uniterminals SAL focuses on providing only unleaded fuel. We have forged solid partnerships with well-known European and regional refineries to ensure a reliable supply chain and uncompromising quality standards.
Gasoil – Diesel
Diesel fuel, invented by Rudolf Diesel, powers compression-ignition engines. At Uniterminals SAL, we source our high-quality diesel products from the EU/GCC (European Union/Gulf Cooperation Council) to reliably cover the needs of all economic sectors in Lebanon.
Fuel Oil
Fuel oil is a liquid fuel composed of long-chain hydrocarbons (alkanes, cycloalkanes, and aromatics) used to generate heat or power. Uniterminals SAL imports this fuel to cover the needs of the largest industrial firms and manufacturing plants located in Lebanon.
Bitumen-Asphalt
Bitumen is a crude oil derivative consisting primarily of carbon (85%) and hydrogen (10%). Due to its superior viscoelastic and waterproofing performance, it acts as the main binding medium in asphalt pavements. The construction industry uses 85% of all refined bitumen for paving and the rest for roofing (10%) and other sealing applications (5%)
Polyol
Polyols are compounds possessing two or more hydroxyl functional groups that are available for organic reactions with isocyanates to produce PU. In other words, Polyol is responsible for providing long flexible segments, to build elastic polymers.
